Meeting Details, Summaries & Export

Summary, transcript, Ask AI, mind map, notes, screenshots, and export.

When you stop, RecorderDesk saves the recording and runs the pipeline — extract audio, transcribe (locally or via Gemini), run speaker diarization, generate the structured summary and title, and build the mind map. Open any recording to see the Meeting Detail view.

The tabs

AI Summary

A structured summary: Executive Summary, Topics Discussed, Key Decisions, Action Items, Next Steps, Pressure Moments & Watchlist, and overall Tone. Generate a role-based summary for a specific audience, and Regenerate after edits.

Transcript

The full, speaker-labeled transcript. Edit with find & replace (scope to text, speaker names, or both; match case / whole word), manage the speaker registry, and rename or merge speakers. Your own turns get a You badge; edited turns are marked.

Ask AI

Chat with the meeting — requirements, decisions, action items, next steps. The assistant can also search the web and search your files to answer.

Mind Map

An automatic mind map you can zoom, collapse/expand, search, and regenerate — and export as SVG, PNG, or an interactive HTML file.

Notes

Your free-form notes for this recording.

Screenshots

Every screenshot captured during recording, marked Manual or Auto, with extracted text (OCR). Each shot is stamped with how far into the recording it was taken (2:30:00 for one at two and a half hours) — click that timecode to jump the player straight to the moment. Analyze a shot with vision, and pin shots to use them as context for Ask AI and summary regeneration.

Automation runs. If any automations fired for this meeting, an Automations badge sits beside the processing chip in the metadata row. Click it to see exactly what happened: each run's automation name, when it ran, its outcome, any error, and a per-action list with skipped actions marked.
Where it was processed. That chip reads Processed locally only when nothing left your device — both the transcription and the summary ran on-device. Regenerate the summary with a cloud model and it switches to Processed in the cloud; any cloud leg wins, and a run RecorderDesk can't account for shows as neither rather than claiming local.

Exporting & sharing

Export the summary, transcript, or full report — or copy either to the clipboard directly. Available formats:
